In Slovakia, the consumer confidence survey measures the level of optimism that consumers have about the performance of the economy. The consumer confidence indicator is the arithmetic average of the balances (%) of four questions: the financial situation of households, the general economic situation, unemployment expectations (with inverted sign) and savings, all over the next 12 months.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the EUR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the EUR.
